What we do

Koi Ku Nawa is the live performance project of Cati & Boris. Since 2015 we have been on stages, at festivals and in clubs together — not with a show in the classic sense, but with real rope sessions that emerge in the moment.

Our work moves between Shibari, BDSM, gothic aesthetics and lived intimacy. Rope is not decoration here, it is language: it holds, demands, restricts, connects, and makes visible what unfolds between two people.

We work reduced, physical and direct. No fixed choreography, no acted-out drama, no decorative re-enactment of pain. Every session follows the energy of the space, the music, the atmosphere — and what is true between us in that exact moment.

Big stage, festival or small club — what matters is not the size of the event but the willingness to let something real happen.
